We have really enjoyed working with Natalie. I am consistently blown away by her methods, skills, talents and patience with my son, who is 7 years old. He started with Natalie when he was 5 and we have been with her since. He's made incredible progress in such a short time, and that is because of Natalie.
I went to Natalie after accepting a job teaching violin in South America for the year. I have a degree in music education, though, I am not a violinist. After working with Natalie, I feel more prepared as a teacher and violinist. She provided resources, clear instructions, and constructive feedback.
I have been taking lessons from Natalie for two and a half years, and she has helped me improve immensely over this time. After struggling to make it into top level orchestras, I was given a recommendation by my orchestra teacher to take lessons from her. With her wonderful instruction, I was able to make it into the Minnesota All-State Orchestra and the top orchestra in the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS). As a result of her teaching, I have become a better performer, more confidant in my abilities to play, a more passionate player, and a better violinist overall.
I've been taking violin lessons from Natalie for two and a half years, and I've improved so much in that time. Natalie provides excellent instruction that has helped me to play better both as a soloist and as part of an ensemble. Opportunities for performance as a soloist has been particularly helpful to me and has helped to diminish my performance anxiety. I am a more accurate, passionate, and confident violinist thanks to my lessons with Natalie.

Thank you for all the help you have given me this past year. I have really noticed an improvement in my playing and I wish I could have learned some of the things you have taught me years ago.

With Natalie’s coaching, my daughter has excelled; she’s currently the concert master at CPHS. Natalie sets high expectations, which encourages her students to continually try harder and ultimately achieve more. Natalie’s passion for music and love of teaching is evident. She’s a wonderful instructor who I highly recommend!

Our son, Zack, was so fortunate to have taken lessons with Natalie while we lived in the Twin Cities. He had been playing for about two years when we moved to Mpls. Little did we know it would take almost a year to find a “good fit” instructor. Natalie was our third and final try and they hit it off immediately! She is nurturing and encouraging while being able to take her students to the next level. Zack learned so much from her and grew so much from her instruction. My only complaint…when we moved out of state, we couldn’t take her with us.
